Questions & Answers

Do you only translate from English to Spanish?

I provide specialised translations from English to Spanish and general translations from French to Spanish. If you need any other language combination, you can contact me and I will try to get you in touch with a trusted colleague in that language pair.

Do you send printed copies of your sworn translations by post?

No, I deliver all sworn translations in an electronically signed and stamped PDF. Please note that this format was approved by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2020. You can print this PDF if you need a hard copy. More information about electronic sworn translations in my Blog post.

Do you also provide legalisations (apostille)?

No, Sworn Translators cannot provide legalisations (apostille). More information about how to get your document legalised in my Blog post.

How do I send my documents to Legal & Sworn?

You can email your documents to rebeca@legalandsworn.com and I will provide a quote within 24 hours. Please note that even for sworn Spanish translations I do not need the originals, you can send me the documents scanned or a clear picture.

What are your payment terms?

• For companies and translation agencies: Payment terms are agreed before we start collaborating. 
• For private clients: Payment in advance.
I accept payment by bank transfer or PayPal, in euros (Spanish account) and pounds (UK account).
For longer assignments, I require an upfront payment of 50% and the remaining 50% upon delivery.
